The Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association Health and Safety Committee was formed by the Board of Directors with the goal of providing Health and Safety resources to the Membership. The emerging climate within the Industry that stresses the need for up to date Health and Safety Policies and Practices cannot be ignored, and the Committee's mandate is to assemble training and information, assess needs within the membership and act as an agent for change in the effort to upgrade a companies individual Health and Safety environment.

Mission Statement

"To develop and promote within the Association Membership a Culture of Safe Work by assisting Members in the development and acquisition of effective Health and Safety policies, practices and procedures"

The Committee also coordinates the Annual Health and Safety Awards program.
